The Auschwitz Camp

The Auschwitz camp was set up by the Germans in 1940, in the suburbs of Oświęcim, as incorporated by the Nazis to the Third Reich. Auschwitz has become a symbol of terror, genocide and the Holocaust.
The immediate reason for the establishment of the camp was the growing number of mass arrests of Poles and overcrowding of the existing prisons. Initially it was supposed to be another of the concentration camps set up by the Nazis from the early thirties. This function Auschwitz served throughout the period of its existence. Wieliczka – Salt Mine in Poland

The most famous Salt Mine in Poland is situated near Krakow. That’s a place worth to visit! There is also a magical place where dreams about being princess and price on ball may come true. Salt Mine is situated in little town near Krakow -  Wieliczka. Wieliczka was located in  XIII century.
