Jordan Park was founded in 1889 by Henryk Jordan who was a Cracovian interested in popularizing sport among youth. This big area was designed in the style of English gardens. The paths are placed irregularly, there is a lot of flowerbeds, big lawns, and little ponds. The nature corresponds well with the places like volleyball and basketball fields. There are also special places for the skateboard amateurs. Sitting on one of the numerous benches, you will have the opportunity to see people riding a bike, scooter, roller-skating and even sailing. There is a lot of different opportunities for a very small children that can use playgrounds and also for very old people that would like to stroll and relax around the nature.
